The Tin Shed

I have another brilliant brunch place to share with you…tucked away in West London on All Saints Road. Last Sunday Sean and I decided to branch out from Central and East London and have a little explore around Notting Hill. It is a beautiful part of the city and one I don’t visit very often. Beautiful tree lined roads with gorgeous houses and so many food options. The menu at The Tin Shed is very simple, but I had my eye on the Welsh Rarebit, as I have seen it photographed a lot on Instagram. What is also perfect about it is it has an all day breakfast menu – they serve until 3pm. So if you are a late riser, this is a good spot for you!

Westbourne Grove is one of my favourite places to wander in and out of shops…it is definitely not a cheap place to shop, but it has all of the French brands I love and occasionally buy investment pieces from such as Sandro, Claudie Pierlot, Maje. I also thought I would include in this post a new addition to my wardrobe….wait for it….A CHECKED BLAZER.

I know I know, everyone has one, but I was intrigued by the new fashion label started by Amazon and out of all the blazers I had seen, this one looked the most well made, it has pockets, a nice lining, nice lapels and bold buttons (though I am in the process of replacing these with just plain black buttons). It wasn’t as expensive either as the Zara and Mango versions and it is much better quality. Every item I buy from Zara breaks in some way, the stitching is so poor, so I try my best to avoid it now unless I am just buying into a cheap quick trend piece.

The black jeans are also new, they are the new ripped style hem straight jeans from Topshop (£40). Unbelievably they fit my rather large bum, which is very unusual for me and Topshop jeans, but I know they will be a firm staple in my wardrobe this coming season…and I didn’t go for a skin fitting size as I wanted them to be slightly looser and not be one of those pairs of jeans I can’t wear to dinner, or over the festive period because they are just too uncomfortable!

Blazer – Amazon

Jeans – Topshop
