Kalamar Bay

Kalamar Bay

Hello everyone, it feels good to be back posting! I have had an exceptionally long sojourn this summer I haven’t found much time to post ironically but I’ve been shooting lots of content so for the next few weeks I am going to be prolonging the Summer as much as possible.

A couple of weeks ago I travelled to Kalkan in Turkey with Sean. Sometimes I just love going back to the same places, to eat in the restaurants that you like. I feel like you can really relax and it was nice to share fun memories with Sean.

The first place I really wanted to take him was Kalamar Beach Club, set in a beautiful bay, the sea is turquoise and clear and you get food and drink service from your sunbed, it feels very luxurious. You can swim out to the pontoons and use their kayaks and pedalos to have a little explore. Sean and I were incredibly lucky whilst out on our pedalo, we spotted a large turtle swimming around us and we followed it for a little while as it kept popping its head out of the water to look at us!

Having enjoyed our day at Kalamar we were both ravenous, we decided to explore the town, have an early dinner and maybe a few cocktails. Kalkan is a seriously foodie place, it’s a world of rooftop restaurants mostly based on traditional turkish food. There are so many restaurants to choose from, we were spoilt for choice! Plus there are lots of lovely boutique shops selling jewellery, turkish towels, clothes and ‘special’ handbags. What more could you want?
